I brought a vehicle to them with a stated main seal leak, the techs and front desk where informed ahead of time what the issue with the truck was and that when you start the vehicle it will leak oil heavily from the front main seal, i incorrectly assumed that a “professional” mechanic/technician would understand what that means. I was summoned and then promptly scolded by the front desk lady about 15 minutes later because my “truck leaked oil from the main seal all over the shop floor when we started it!”… then she request I return and put a card on file so they could charge me $550 to diagnose the leak… well I can understand not taking my word for it but I was told the $550 would have to be paid twice once to disassemble the timing belt cover and diagnose the leak and again to disassemble the cover for the repair. At this point I could feel the gray matter leaking from my ears so I opted to just pick up my truck and do it myself (my mistake for not doing that in the first place). When I arrived the front desk lady had to call someone to figure how to charge me for the “service” since they charge by the hour for diagnostics. Since they had only had my vehicle for approximately 22 minutes at this point they decided $15 is all that was owed. Well $15 to drive my truck into the shop and then walk back to the front desk or as I like to think of it $15 in exchange for my freedom from the window licking staff at this auto shop. When my $15 was paid and it was time to return my truck the portly mechanic and his even more portly friend pushed my truck into the parking lot in neutral and slammed it into park without using the foot brake so the transmission made an awful grinding sound and then they both proceeded to again admonish me for my truck leaking all over their shop floor. I do feel bad, I know it must have been horrifying to get oil on your automotive shop floor. Especially so unexpectedly… anyway I fixed it myself and then gave myself the $550 instead.

Came inside and asked for help to tighten some lug nuts and I was told basically they are to busy and to go next door to oriellys and rent a tool do it myself

Money grabber. Unhelpful. Mechanic wouldn’t even speak to me and front desk worker had to run back and forth as a messenger. Was hoping to get a diagnostic on my vehicle but was charged $100 to get a computer code printed (oreilys does it for free) and still don’t know what’s wrong with it. Very general code reading came back. Almost was charged $130 for something that took 15 minutes to do. Won’t go back. Won’t refer anyone

Called Kelly’s Automotive after realizing a battery swap on our 2019 Subaru Crosstrek wasn’t as straightforward as expected. Susan was great and got us in the same day. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. Friendly, efficient service. A real hidden gem in Auburn. Highly recommend.

When someone asks for an estimate you should really tell your customers that it's going to cost them 100 dollars before they bring your vehicle in. Upon pick up of my truck the other day I was charged almost a hundred dollars for an estimate... I've had 3 other estimates from reputable shops and none of them charged me... Also your "estimate" came in higher than everyone else's. Needless to say I won't be coming back here.

Again, Kelly's Auto Repair came through! Needed to get my 98 Honda checked over and fixed for a cross-country trip home to NC. Done within 2 days and squared with estimate. As always, Rose clearly explained the items for repair and offered great suggestions for tires. We have been customers for years and will continue relying on Kelly's great service.
